Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, extends his sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the valiant leaders, officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces, and the great Egyptian people on the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.

Al-Azhar Grand Imam affirms that the memory of the liberation of Sinai is precious for all Egyptians, for it has perpetuated a historical epic of pride, dignity and a will not to forfeit any part of the soil of our dear homeland. He pointed out that the Egyptians will not forget the sacrifices made by our valiant soldiers for the soil of this country.

His Eminence called on the Egyptians to work and strive to build a bright future for this country and its renaissance, praying to Allah Almighty to bless our beloved Egypt with security, safety, stability and prosperity, and to protect it from all types of harm and evil.
