In constant content with Allah’s Decree, His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed At-Tayyeb mourned the Egyptian victims of the passenger bus accident. The overturning of the bus resulted in the death and injury of 16 Egyptian citizens who were on their way to Makkah Al-Mukarramah (Holy Mecca) to perform ˁUmrah (minor pilgrimage). The Grand Imam extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, praying to Allah Almighty to bless the victims with mercy and forgiveness, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery: "Surely, we belong to Allah and unto Him we shall return."
