H.E. Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, congratulated Dr. Osama Abdel-Hayy, Professor of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Azhar University, on his winning the seat of Secretary-General of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate, wishing him constant success in his mission, which he has responsibly and honestly undertook. Besides becoming the 19th Secretary-General of the Medical Syndicate, Dr. Abdel-Hayy served as Head of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Faculty of Medicine for Men, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, and President of the Arab Physicians’ Union. He also held the positions of Secretary-General and Undersecretary of the Egyptian Physicians’ Syndicate. Besides, he was Head of the Anesthesia Department and Head of the Scientific Council at the Nasser Institute. He also formerly worked as Head of the Disciplinary Committee of the General Syndicate of Egyptian Physicians. ‎
