His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb extended his sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, for assuming office as the new Emir of the State of Kuwait and the leadership of the sisterly State of Kuwait.

His Eminence prayed Allah that His Highness may continue to lead the sisterly State of Kuwait on the path of prosperity to achieve the aspirations of his people and his country, and to support the causes of the Arab and Muslim nations.
