The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, mourned the victims of the school bus crash that took place this morning, Thursday, in Java, Indonesia, killing and injuring students, teachers and parents. The Grand Imam posted on his Facebook and Twitter accounts, “May Allah have mercy on the students, teachers, and parents of the victims of the Indonesian Islamic School bus crash, which took place in Java. The Indonesian Ministry of Transport had confirmed that a bus carrying students, teachers and some parents plunged into a ravine on the main island of Java last night upon their return from a picnic. As a result, 27 people were killed, while 39 survived.
