The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar (GI) calls the top students of Al-Azhar secondary school and congratulates them on their excellence.
The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, made a number of phone calls today, Tuesday, to the top students of Al-Azhar secondary school certificate for the academic year 2023/2024. His Eminence congratulated them on their success in this important stage of their educational journey, stressing his appreciation and pride in these students for the effort they have made during this academic year. Allah rewarded them for their diligence and hard work by helping them achieve the first places among distinguished students in a highly competitive exam.
His Eminence also congratulated the parents of the top students and expressed his thanks and appreciation to them for the efforts they made to motivate their children, help them excel and stand out among their colleagues, and provide the appropriate environment for studying and diligence. He encouraged the students to strive for excellence in their university studies, to serve as role models for their peers and communities, and to spread knowledge and a culture of diligence and achievement. His hope was for a generation of ambitious and hardworking youth who would lead the way in driving progress and success.
The top positions in Al-Azhar secondary certificate this year in the scientific section were as follows: First place: Omar Muhammad Attia Muhammad Abd al-Rahman, from Mit Abu al-Hussein Institute in Dakahlia, with a total of 648 points, a percentage of (99.69%). Second place was shared by Ahmad Muhammad Amer Siddiq Ahmad, from Asim Najib Juwaifel Institute in Sharqia, With a total of 647 points (99.54%); Nafisa Mohamed Ahmad Mohamed El-Afifi, from Ezbet El-Bakry Institute for female students in Gharbia, with a total of 647 points (99.54%); and Mariam Abdel Moneim Mohamed Mahmoud, from Senged Institute for female students in Dakahlia, with a total of 647 (99.54%).
In the literary section, the top positions are as follows: First place, Heba Mohsen Abdel Razek Khorshid, from Basat Talkha Institute in Dakahlia, with a total of 619 points (98.25%); second place was shared by Janat Mustafa Mohamed Ahmed Hamdan, from the Sixth District Model Institute for female students in Cairo, with a total of 615 points (97.62%); and Mariam Maher Abdullah Ibrahim El-Najjar, from Banha Institute for female students in Qalyubia, with a total of 615 points (97.62%).
The first place for blind students went to Habeeba Mohamed Abdel Fattah Ahmed, from the 15th of May Institute for female students in Cairo, with a total of 592 points (93.97%). The second place went to Hamza Sharif Khalaf Allah Ali, from the Sheikh Zayed Institute in Giza, with a total of 578 points (91.75%).
As for Al-Azhar Palestine Institutes, Shahd Amjad Hassan Al-Diraoui, from the Gaza Institute for female students, came first in the science section with a total of 620 points (95.38%), and Maha Mazen Ali Mihna, from the Gaza Institute for female students, came first in the literary section with a total of 554 points (93.90%).
