The new position is a test from Allah, so use it to do good for people, the Grand Imam to the new Grand Mufti

 

His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, congratulated Prof. Nazir Ayyad, Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy, on his appointment as the new Grand Mufti of Egypt, wishing him success and guidance. He called on Allah Almighty to help the Mufti carry out the tasks of this great responsibility, and to grant him success in advancing the work system of Egypt's Dar Al-Iftaa, in a way that benefits people and facilitates their religious affairs. The Grand Imam said to the Mufti: “Allah Almighty has tested you with this important position, it is a major responsibility, so use it to do good for people and ease their affairs.”

 

His Eminence the Grand Imam also thanked Dr. Shawky Allam, the former Mufti of the Republic, for his efforts during the past period to advance Dar Al-Iftaa, praying to Allah Almighty to grant him success and guidance.
