GI extends condolences to Prof. Hassan Al-Shafie on the loss of his esteemed wife
His Eminence the Grand Imam (GI) of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb extended his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the distinguished professor, Hassan El-Shafei, member of the Council of Senior Scholars at Al-Azhar, member of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE), and President of the Arab Language Academies, on the passing of his honorable wife. The Grand Imam prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon her, and to grant her the highest place in Paradise, “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”
