GI mourns the loss of student Yasser Ibrahim, who came fourth in Al-Azhar secondary school certificate
Accepting Allah's will, Al-Azhar Grand Imam (GI), Prof. Ahmad al-Tayyeb, mourned student Yasser Ibrahim, who ranked in the fourth place at the Al-Azhar secondary school certificate for the blind and visually impaired, and who passed away today, after a struggle with cancer.
The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar extended his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased student, his loved ones and teachers, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy and forgiveness upon him, to grant him a place in His Paradise, and to grant his family and relatives patience and solace: “To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”
The Grand Imam directed a delegation from Al-Azhar Institutes Sector to visit the student’s family and offer them condolences and sympathy.
