His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, congratulated the top students of Al-Azhar Secondary School Certificate for the academic year 2023/2024, today, Thursday, at his office at Al-Azhar headquarters. His Eminence welcomed the students and their parents to honor them and thank them for what they have done during their educational journey in the pre-university education stage.

His Eminence stressed that the top students represent a distinguished generation, raised on Al-Azhar curricula that have produced, throughout Al-Azhar’s long history, eminent scholars who have filled the world with knowledge and light. He pointed out that this meeting that is held to honor them does not equal the effort and diligence made by these students and their families, but it is an appreciation from Al-Azhar for its sons, and an expression of Al-Azhar’s support  for and pride in them and their excellence. He called on them to continue to excel in the college stage to contribute to constructing our beloved country, Egypt.

The honored students expressed their love and appreciation for His Eminence the Grand Imam, and their thanks to him for this honor. They said that meeting the Grand Imam was a dream for them that came true today, and this honor motivates them to always excel and stand out. Such a meeting makes them feel the keenness of Al-Azhar institution to care for its children. They called on their fellow students to work hard, persevere, and seek knowledge with love and passion, in accordance with the teachings of Islam and its appreciation for knowledge and scholars, and in service to our religion and our country and to always raise its banner and contribute to its construction and advancement.
