Al-Azhar Grand Imam (GI), Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, extended his congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, and the Islamic nation on the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet of Mercy and Peace (PBUH), calling on Allah Almighty on this occasion to bestow goodness, security, stability and prosperity upon the Islamic nation and humanity as well.

 

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar affirms that as we celebrate the birth anniversary of the Prophet (PBUH), we celebrate the manifestation of divine enlightenment sent for all humanity in the form of the divine message of Islam that sealed all divine messages and spread peace, love, and mercy. Through this Prophet (PBUH), who ruled with justice among people, Allah brought people out of darkness into the light.

 

His Eminence explained that our world today is in dire need of the guidance of the Prophet (PBUH) more than ever before, after the global conscience failed to establish peace, end wars and conflicts, or curb the brutal aggression against innocents in Palestine and other burning areas and hotbeds of conflict around the world.
