Al-Azhar Grand Imam (GI), Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, presented President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, with the first copy of Al-Azhar’s English translation of the meanings of the Holy Quran, during celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This is the first translation issued by Al-Azhar Translation Center to introduce the meanings of the Holy Quran to Muslims who do not speak Arabic, and to all those interested in reading the meanings of this great book, the established constitution of Muslims and the guidance of heaven for humanity.

 

The translation was completed over several years by scholars specializing in both the English language and Islamic Sharia sciences, to provide an accurate translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, highlighting the beauty of the Qur’an, its miracles, and the benefits it brings for all humanity.
