Al-Azhar GI appoints Dr. El-Gendy as AIRA acting Secretary
His Eminence the Grand Imam (GI) of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Prof. Ahmad al-Tayyeb, has assigned Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Dayem Ali Suleiman Al-Gendi, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Dawah at Al-Azhar University, to carry out the duties of the Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy (AIRA).
