President El-Sisi offers condolences to Al-Azhar ّ GI over sister’s death, sends representative to Luxor
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call to Al-Azhar Grand Imam (GI) and MCE Chairman, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, to offer his condolences on the death of his elder sister, Hajja Samiha Mohamed al-Tayyeb, who passed away yesterday morning, Wednesday. His Excellency also sent a representative to offer his condolences to His Eminence in the city of Qurna in Luxor Governorate.
President El-Sisi expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy and forgiveness on the deceased, to grant her a place in His spacious Paradise, and to grant the honorable family patience and solace.
His Eminence the Grand Imam expressed his thanks and sincere appreciation to His Excellency President El-Sisi for offering his condolences, praying to Allah Almighty to grant him continued health and wellness, to protect his family and relatives, and to guide him to what is best for the country and its people.
