Al-Azhar Grand Imam (GI) and MCE Chairman, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, received a cable of condolences from Dr. Yahya Cholil Staquf, Chairman of the Executive Council of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Organization in Indonesia, on the death of his sister who passed away the day before yesterday.

In his cable, Dr. Staquf, on behalf of all members of the Nahdlatul Ulama Organization, expressed his sincere condolences to His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and his honorable family, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His vast mercy on the deceased, to grant her a place in His spacious Paradise, and to grant her family and relatives patience and solace in this great loss.
