Al-Azhar Grand Imam (GI) and MCE Chairman, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, received a letter of condolences from Dr. Emmanuel Pisani, Director of the Dominican Institute of Oriental Studies (IDEO), on the death of his sister who passed away the day before yesterday. 

Dr. Pisani said in his letter: “With hearts filled with sadness and sorrow, we received the news of the death of your dear sister. We at the Dominican Institute of Oriental Studies express our deep sympathy with you, and offer you our most sincere condolences and sympathy for this great loss. We ask God to have mercy on the deceased, to grant her a place in the gardens of Paradise, and to grant you and your family strength, patience and solace.”
