Al-Azhar GI inaugurates Mohammad Atayto Institute in Luxor, celebrates with students

In a joyous atmosphere, His Eminence Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, Al-Azhar Grand Imam (GI) inaugurated this morning, Sunday, the Mohamed Atayto Languages Institute in Al-Tayeb Square area in the city of Qurna in Luxor Governorate. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Abdel Rahman Al-Dwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, Sheikh Ayman Abdel-Ghani, Head of Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, and a group of leaders from Al-Azhar and Luxor Governorate.

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar was keen to attend the opening ceremony of the institute, share in the joy of the students and their families, engage in conversation with them, and take commemorative photos. He called on the students to be serious and diligent so that they may become able to carry the pioneering message of Al-Azhar. In this way, they can form a generation of youth who have correct and conscious understanding of Islam, and can cope with the current age, its challenges, and its cultural, social, religious and intellectual issues.

The Mohamed Atayto Azhari Institute is located on an area of 1078 square meters. It consists of 43 classrooms, a room for the institute’s head, a room for teachers, a health unit room, a nutrition room, a storeroom, a canteen, a school store, 12 administration rooms, a language lab, 3 labs: chemistry, biology and nature, a library room, 2 computer rooms, in addition to 6 bathrooms for each stage, and separate bathrooms for male and female teachers.
