His Eminence Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE), arrived today, Tuesday, in the Bahraini capital, Manama, to attend the activities of the Inter-Islamic Dialogue Conference, under the slogan: “One Nation, One Shared Destiny” on February 19-20.

 

An official reception ceremony was held for His Eminence upon his arrival at Bahrain International Airport, where he was received by His Excellency Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Nawaf bin Mohamed Al-Maawda, Bahrain's Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments (Waqf), Counselor Mohamed Abdel Salam, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders (MCE), Ambassador Reham Abdel Hamid, Ambassador of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Excellency Mr. Salman bin Isa bin Hindi, Governor of Muharraq Governorate.
