Grand Imam offers his condolences to Pope Tawadros II on the passing of Metropolitan Pachomius
His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayyeb extends his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria, Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church, on the passing of Metropolitan Pachomius, Metropolitan bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Beheira and Matrouh, and Titular Archbishop of Pentapolis and the Five Western Cities. He expresses his appreciation for the deceased’s efforts in promoting the values of positive coexistence and social peace and wishes patience and solace to his family and to the members of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
