Directive for full treatment and psychological and moral support for a female dentistry student

In another humanitarian gesture, Professor At-Tayyeb heard about the train-hit Azharite female student at the Faculty of Dentistry (in Cairo), Aya Nasr. Then, as the Grand Imam was on a medical trip to Germany, when he knew that the student was in serious condition, he hastened to phone call her from Germany to check on her health and follow up on her health condition. He also directed that she be transferred to Al-Azhar University Specialized Hospital to complete the treatment course there until she fully recovers. The Grand Imam maintained that Al-Azhar bears all the costs necessary for her treatment, and that all the potential obstacles be removed.  Moreover, the Grand Imam At-Tayyeb directed that the President of Al-Azhar University assign an official university delegation headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for Girls at the University in Cairo, to visit the student and constantly review the development of her health condition.
While following up on the development of the student’s health condition, the Grand Imam learned that the doctors had decided to perform an urgent operation to amputate her leg, so he immediately ordered the provision of a free prosthetic device for her  to be paid for by Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif. Once she recovered, the Grand Imam cordially received her at his office to boost her psychological and moral condition, and to urge her to continue her studies well and look to the future in all confidence and optimism.
