The Grand Imam heads to Germany for physiotherapy sessions on the spine Al-Azhar reassures and thanks all people for their good feelings
From September 29 to October 3, 2021, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad At-Tayyeb, was at a German specialized hospital where he underwent physiotherapy sessions on the spine, upon a recommendation by specialized Egyptian doctors to conduct detailed examinations of the spine. After conducting the necessary tests, it was found that he needed intensive physical therapy for the lumbar backache.
His eminence left the physiotherapy center where he was receiving treatment for several days, heading to Rome, Italy, to resume his scholarly activities by participating in two religious leaders’ summits on climate and education.
The Grand Imam extends his thanks and appreciation to the Muslims masses and friends in Egypt and abroad, who inquired about and prayed for him. He also reassures everyone that he is fine and in good health.
Al-Azhar proudly appreciates the noble feelings, sincere supplications, and true love for the Grand Imam as shown by Egyptian and Muslim masses around the world.
